Partner Update - All Hands and Hearts and Sol Relief work together to support the Bahamas!

Due to COVID-19, one of our partners, All Hands And Hearts (AHAH), who help families and communities recover from natural disasters by building safe, resilient schools, homes and other community infrastructure, had to reconstruct their business model of having volunteers get themselves to volunteer project locations. With commercial flights no longer available, or the number of flights significantly reduced, AHAH needed a way to transport people and supplies over to the Bahamas to continue their work rebuilding homes. Although AHAH chartered flights to transport 30 volunteers at a time for three month projects, Sol Relief volunteer pilots transported the AHAH management team and all of the necessary volunteer supplies to Marsh Harbour, including the bedding, tools, work boots and PPE that was needed for the volunteers.  We also provided AHAH with weatherproof roofing materials for 100 homes they have under construction.
